Design Forum Finland is the promotion organization of Finnish design. It is maintained by the Finnish Society of Crafts and Design, which was founded in 1875.
The premises of Design Forum Finland are at no. 7 Erottajankatu Street in central Helsinki, opposite Dianapuisto Park in the heart of Design District Helsinki. The exhibition spaces and Design Forum Shop also operate in these premises.
The uses and applications of design have expanded. It now has an increasingly central role in everyday life and society in Finland, helping to provide success and international contacts for Finnish businesses. Alongside traditional areas, the design-intensive sector includes marketing media, digital design and the design of brands and services, among others. Design Forum Finland's target groups encompass all these areas.
