This year's Dressing Codes Competition, organized by Domus in collaboration with Deborah Group and Future Concept Lab. During its eighth edition, was closed recently.
The brief was entirely dedicated to the research on colours: colours on the skin, colours of clothes, the matching or coordinated clash of colours, free make-up and the colours of clothes and accessories in a vision projected into the future for the realization of innovative trend books.
The participation was intense and the for the jury composed of Sofia Bonetti and Malvina Cova from Deborah, Francesco Morace from Future Concept Lab, Chiara Poletti from Fragile and Barbara Trebitsch from Domus Academy it was not easy to select the winner of the scholarship covering the entire tuition fee of one of the MA programmes of Domus Academy Fashion Design Department, academic year 2010.
The first prize for the Master in Fashion Design 2010 was awarded to Tatjana Zonca, 26 years – German with Italian origins – graduated in Fashion Design. She took inspiration from a modern femininity, in a dialogue with the fashion of the past, but projected into the future. She highlighted particularly sophisticated and innovative colour palette, atmospheres and lines.
The second prize was awarded to Stella Paganini 22 years old – Italian – graduated in Design della moda at Politecnico di Milano, with workshop experiences at Central Saint Martins, London. Stella Paganini will attend the Master in Accessories Design 2010. Her project, “Metro Humus” is working on the key words escape and industriousness, for a concrete return to the original humus, in a modern key. The work proposes a very personal and stimulating vision.
