Pesce was one of the leaders of the Italian 'radical' group of the 1960's, when he experimented with new materials, such as polyurethane foam. His departure from commercially-viable production methods and materials continues today, as he continues to experiment.
543 Broadway chair has a seat fashioned from resin and has springs that adjust to the posture (and attitude) of the user. This Epoxy resin chair has an extraordinarily flexible metal frame. This effect is achieved through the use of steel springs which ensure that the chair follows and reflects the movement of the person sitting in it. All of the seats are unique in appearance due to the manufacturing process.
