Niccola Chair, 1992
Zanotta Spa, Italy
Steel, polyurethane, leather or Alcantara
Niccola is a chair designed by Andrea Branzi in 1992.
Since the 1980s, Branzi has been advocating a post-industrialist approach which maintains the importance of design for the individual. Although far removed stylistically from his earlier "neo-primitive" style and borrowing references from the Modern Movement, the "Niccola" is fundamentally a Post-Modern design.
