Samoa Washbasin, 2003
W 88 cm, H 15 cm, D 48 cm
The Samoa wash basin is part of a collection comprised of 3 projects by Matteo Thun: Thun washbasin, Girly Program and I Maestri.
Designed for Ceramica Catalano and inspired by the island Samoa, it is best described by Thun as: "Samoa is a pond-like shallow basin sunk in a slim slab and meant to inspire the user to 'daydream' away while starting the day 'off a faraway atoll' ".
Samoa washbasin is for wall-hung or semi inset installation; it is available in a traditional finishing or with a cobalt blue sink. It can be integrated by a specific towel rail. It may contain 0,1 or 3 taphole.
