. graduated from Turin Polytechnic as an architect in 1939,
. started to practice architecture in Milan for Giuseppe Pagano group of architects in 1946,
. established his own office, The Studio in Milan in 1947,
. worked for George Nelson design office on The Experimental House in America in 1956,
. back in Italy, appointed as the Artistic director of Poltronova, involved in designing and production of lighting and furniture such as Mobili Grigi in 1957,
. became design consultant for Olivetti Electronics in 1958,
. awarded a Compasso d’Oro with the design of Elea 9003 main-frame computer in 1959,
. traveled to India and designed a series of ceramics with Eastern form inspirations in 1961,
. awarded a honorary degree by the Royal College of Arts in 1968,
. exhibited his portable and adaptable plastic shelters “House Environment” at the “Italy; The New Domestic Landscape” exhibition at New York Museum of Modern Art in 1972,
. while designing in his Modern style, he also created colorful and iconoclastic new style works influenced by 1950s popular design,
